Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi among 15 declared Fugitive Economic Offenders causing Rs 26,645 crore loss: MoS Finance
As of October 31, 2025, 15 individuals have been declared Fugitive Economic Offenders (FEOs) under the FEOA, 2018. Nine of these are linked to large financial frauds against public sector banks, causing a principal loss of Rs 26,645 crore. The government has recovered Rs 19,187 crore from these offenders.
