VHP wants temples freed from government control
Following the Tirupati laddu prasadam controversy, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will be holding a meeting of its apex decision-making body in Tirupati to press BJP to bring in measures to “free Hindu temples” from government control, which has been a long-term goal of the organisation.
