Uttarakhand's UCC portal goes live in 23 languages – Here’s how to register

Uttarakhand has become the first Indian state to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), standardising personal laws across all communities. The government has launched the UCC portal to facilitate the registration process for residents, ensuring easy access to legal information on marriage, divorce, succession, and live-in relationships. This initiative, led by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, is seen as a significant legal reform aimed at promoting equality and transparency in civil matters.
