U.S. universities are invited to bring students and faculty to Italy to participate in the Italian technology awards program for metalworking machinery.

The Italian Trade Agency is inviting U.S. university students and faculty to participate in the 2025 Italian Technology Awards. The program, which focuses on innovations in mechanical engineering and metalworking, asks students to submit papers addressing topics like machine tools, robotics, and sustainability. Winners will receive a one-week trip to Italy in June 2025, including visits to top Italian companies and participation in an educational program in Milan. Papers must be submitted by April 25, 2025. The program is sponsored by the Italian Trade Agency and UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE.
