US manufacturing drops to 15-month low in October

US manufacturing hit a 15-month low in October, with the PMI falling to 46.5, due to a strike by Boeing factory workers. The production of popular planes like the 737 MAX was halted. Prices for inputs increased, and factory employment saw slight improvement. This marked the seventh consecutive month of manufacturing contraction.
