UP govt to honour individuals with 'Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Samman' for contributions to silk industry

The UP government will honour exceptional contributions to the Silk Industry with the 'Pandit Deen Dayal Updhyayay Samman' awards for 2024-25. Awards will be given in eight categories and include cash prizes. Application process is open until October 10, 2024. The government will also launch the 'Resham Mitra' magazine and portal to support the industry.
