UP: Earthquake magnitude 2.7 strikes Meerut

A minor earthquake with a magnitude of 2.7 struck Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday morning at 08:44 AM IST, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). The quake's epicenter was located five kilometers below the surface. Earlier, on May 28, a stronger earthquake of magnitude 3.9 jolted Churachandpur, Manipur.
