Union Budget cannot have any Delhi-specific schemes: EC

Delhi Elections: The Election Commission of India has stopped the central government from announcing any Delhi-specific schemes in the Union Budget. This is due to the Model Code of Conduct in place for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Voting is on February 5 and results will be declared on February 8. The budget needs to stay neutral.
