UN: Developing nations face $284 billion climate funding gap

According to a striking new UN report, developing nations are facing a dire shortage of climate adaptation funding. These countries require substantial financial support annually—tens of billions—to manage the growing threats posed by climate change, such as Hurricane Melissa.
