UIDAI urges schools to ensure biometric updates in Aadhaar for 5-15 years old kids

Unique Identification Authority of India wants schools to help update Aadhaar biometrics for children aged 5-15. CEO Bhuvnesh Kumar asked states and union territories to organize camps. This will ensure accurate biometric data. Nearly 17 crore Aadhaar numbers need updates. Not updating may cause problems with government benefits and exams. Schools can now check update status via the UDISE+ application.
