Trump says California is full of fraud. Bonta says the claims are 'reckless'
The California attorney general said Trump's claims are "wrongly and dangerously alleging the [state] government is involved in fraud" and said state authorities have worked arduously over the years to combat fraud, recovering nearly $2.7 billion through criminal and civil prosecutions since 2016.
