Trump plots to buy Greenland, Rubio plans US-Denmark meeting

US President Donald Trump has spoken with his national security team about making an offer to purchase Greenland from Denmark, the White House said Wednesday, despite Copenhagen making clear the Arctic island was not for sale. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he would meet Danish officials to discuss the issue next week.
