Trump open to meeting Putin over Ukraine as soon as next week, official says

Donald Trump may meet Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskiy soon. The U.S. plans more sanctions against Russia. This follows talks between Putin and Trump's envoy, Steve Witkoff. Trump is unhappy with the slow progress towards peace. He has also imposed tariffs on India for buying Russian oil. Zelenskiy believes Russia is now more open to a ceasefire.
