Trump may visit India this year, hints Sergio Gor

Sergio Gor, nominee for US Ambassador to India, told the Senate panel that President Trump is committed to the Quad and may attend the leaders summit in India later this year. He called India a “vital counterweight” to China, backed stronger defence ties, urged India to stop Russian oil imports, and stressed cooperation despite tariff disputes.
