Trump administration takes aim at Biden electric vehicle rules

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is initiating efforts to reverse the Biden administration's vehicle emissions rules, which mandate a higher production of electric vehicles. This includes reconsidering rules that would significantly reduce passenger and heavy-duty truck emissions, as well as evaluating the 2024 regulations projected to cut tailpipe emissions by 50% by 2032.
