Trump administration revokes extension of protections for Venezuelans in US, NY Times reports

The Trump administration has voided an extension of deportation relief for over 600,000 Venezuelans granted by the Biden administration through the Temporary Protected Status program. The move rescinds an additional 18 months of deportation protection and work permits. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem must decide on protections expiring in April by this Saturday or they will renew automatically.
