Toyota announces $1 billion investment into Indiana and Kentucky facilities

The Toyota plants in both Kentucky and Indiana are getting some major investments this year. Toyota Motor North America Inc. announced $1 billion will be split between the Kentucky and Indiana plants to "better meet diverse customer needs in the United States." The plant in Georgetown, Kentucky, will see $800 million to better prepare the facility for production of their battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and to increase production of the Camry and the RAV4.
