Toronto council fast-tracked a safety barrier on Leaside Bridge after family’s tragedy. Here’s how long it will take and how much it’ll cost
City council has tried to speed up procurement, design and construction of the barrier after Harold Lusthouse was killed last year when a person jumped from the bridge and landed on the car he was a passenger in.
