Tirumala temple performs traditional cleaning ritual in view of annual brahmotsavams

Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam, the traditional temple cleansing ritual, was performed at Tirumala temple. This took place in preparation for the annual brahmotsavams from October 4 to 12. The temple, deities, and utensils were cleaned, and a special aromatic mixture was applied. Devotees were allowed for darshan after 12 noon.
