Ticketmaster to reimburse $6 million to Canadians for deceptive pricing in class-action lawsuit

Ticketmaster has agreed to a $6-million settlement in a class-action lawsuit over deceptive “drip pricing” practices, where unexpected fees were added to ticket prices. The settlement, approved by the Regina Court of King's Bench on January 15, compensates Canadian customers who purchased tickets for events between January 1 and June 30, 2018.
