‘This is a very tragic event’: Baby dead, man in custody after Scarborough house fire on Saturday morning
Toronto police said the eight-month-old baby was found in critical condition. A four-year-old and a 70-year-old were also removed from the home, and a 38-year-old male was found with self-inflicted injuries following the 11:15 a.m. blaze.
