This Indian-origin executive is Google's new chief technologist

Google CEO Sundar Pichai has appointed Prabhakar Raghavan as the tech giant's chief technologist. Raghavan will be moving into the role of chief technologist after 12 years of leading other teams across the search company, Pichai said. Earlier Raghavan had been leading Googles search and advertising section, along with other major divisions.
