The Onion reaches new deal to take over Infowars
Satirical news site The Onion has reached a new deal to take over conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ InfoWars company, in a move that could help repay the more than $1 billion he owes the families of Sandy Hook shooting victims. Jones was found liable in a defamation case in 2022 for claiming the massacre that killed 26 people, including 20 children, was a hoax.
