The golden seat of Karnataka’s winter session

The Suvarna Soudha in Belagavi is the seat of the winter session of the Karnataka legislature. Situated on the top of a hillock in Bastawad village on the eastern side of the Bengaluru-Pune national highway, it is surrounded by a large garden under development and unending sugarcane fields, giving it an idyllic look and feel.
