Texas just saved land that's home to species found 'nowhere else on Earth'

Conservation wins after a 671-acre property just outside Big Bend National Park was saved from possible development and will soon become public land. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) announced the acquisition of Heath Canyon Ranch, a property that will expand outdoor recreational opportunities for the public.
