Tens of thousands of Long Island drivers cited for speeding through highway work zones, data shows
From May 2023 to May 2024, more than 134,000 citations were issued across New York state highway construction sites, with 40%, or over 54,000 of those citations in Nassau and Suffolk counties, figures show.
