Telangana consumes Rs 1,000 crore worth of liquor during nine days of Navaratri

During the nine-day Navaratri period and Vijaya Dasami, Telangana's liquor sales crossed Rs 1,000 crore in just 10 days. The excise department collected Rs 1,057 crore. Beer and Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) sales significantly contributed. This marked a 20% increase compared to the same period last year, despite a dry day on October 2.
