Tata group to invest in major electronic manufacturing unit, green energy in Assam: Chandrasekaran

Tata group chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran announced investments in a large electronics manufacturing unit in Assam as part of the group's commitment to the state. This follows the Rs 27,000 crore semiconductor unit in Jagiroad. The group will also invest in green energy projects, including solar and renewable power generation, in collaboration with the state government.
