Supreme Court directs Uttar Pradesh police to complete probe against MLA Abbas Ansari within 10 days

The Supreme Court has ordered the Uttar Pradesh police to conclude their investigation against MLA Abbas Ansari under the Gangsters Act within 10 days. Following the investigation, Ansari's bail plea will be considered. Previously, the Allahabad High Court denied bail as the case, involving charges of forming a gang, extortion, and assault, is still under investigation.
