Supreme Court directs HCs, states to ensure separate toilets for males, females, PwDs, transgenders

The Supreme Court emphasized the urgent need for adequate and separate public toilet facilities accessible to all genders, including PwDs and transgender persons, in court premises across India. A special committee will oversee the construction and maintenance of these facilities, ensuring a hygienic environment to uphold the right to life and dignity.
