Stranded at 12,000 ft in abandoned Uttarakhand village, CEC had instant noodles, dry fruits for food

Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar experienced a 17-hour ordeal in sub-zero temperatures in a deserted Uttarakhand village. His chopper made an emergency landing due to poor visibility. Kumar and his team were aided by local trekkers and villagers with food and warmth until ITBP teams arrived. The CEC later praised the locals for their assistance.
