'Still waiting for 40 Tejas jets that were ordered in 2010': IAF chief

Indian Air Force (IAF) Chief Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh highlighted delays in indigenous fighter jet projects and called for stronger private sector involvement in defence R&D. Singh underscored the risks of falling behind technologically and reiterated the necessity of embracing innovation despite higher costs.
