Stampede-like situation at Mahakumbh in Prayagraj; few injured, says official

A stampede-like situation occurred at Mahakumbh in Prayagraj early Wednesday when barriers broke, causing injuries to some people. Special Executive Officer Akanksha Rana stated that the injured are receiving treatment and the situation is not considered serious. More than 80 to 100 million people are expected at the Sangam Ghats for Mauni Amavasya.
