The Cincinnati Reds salvaged the three-game series against the defending world champion Dodgers and avoided being swept yet again this season, winning 5-2 on Wednesday night. Spencer Steer’s two-run triple in the eighth inning broke open a 2-2 game and Cincinnati is now 57-52 on the season. Scott Barlow got the win on the mound.
