SpiceJet’s successful QIP could prevent a potential duopoly, and keep airfares in check

SpiceJet’s successful Rs 3,000 crore QIP has provided a much-needed boost to India’s struggling aviation sector, following the downfall of Jet Airways and GoFirst. The oversubscribed QIP has restored market confidence in the airline’s ability to maintain competition and affordable airfares. The funds will be used for fleet expansion and operational stability.
