Spain's Costa Blanca bears the scars of a real estate frenzy

The region of Valencia in Spain suffered particularly from the real estate frenzy that led to the 2008 financial crisis. Between 2020 and 2021, the Basque photographer Markel Redondo explored this stretch of the Mediterranean coast, which is now rimmed with concrete.
