South Korea's Yoon Suk Yeol attends his first criminal trial hearing

South Korea's impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol attended the first hearing of his criminal trial over insurrection charges. Prosecutors accused him of leading an insurrection with his martial law imposition on December 3. The Constitutional Court is also reviewing his impeachment, with the possibility of his removal from office. Yoon argues the martial law was intended as a warning.
