Sonam Wangchuk ends 15-day fast after Home Ministry promises Dec 3 meeting with Ladakh groups

Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk and fellow activists ended their 15-day fast on Monday after the Home Ministry assured them of a meeting with Ladakh groups on December 3. Wangchuk, who had been on a hunger strike since October 5 to advocate for Sixth Schedule status for Ladakh and other regional demands, is supported by both the Leh Apex Body and the Kargil Democratic Alliance.
