SNAP benefits in full expected Friday

(The Center Square) – Just in time for the weekend, recipients in the federal food stamps program in North Carolina will receive benefits on to their electronic benefits transfer cards Friday. The Department of Health and Human Services late Thursday said approximately 600,000 households should have full amounts following Wednesday evening’s vote to reopen the federal government after 43 days of shutdown.
