Siddaramaiah meets Modi, seeks Centre’s support for Bengaluru citing its global status

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi to seek assistance for upgrading Bengalurus infrastructure and requested a special grant for the peripheral ring road. He also sought funds for tier two cities and assistance for cooperative banking. Siddaramaiah highlighted the raw deal Karnataka received from the 15th Finance Commission and requested intervention for additional grants.
