Sharon Osbourne and Yungblud lead Grammy Awards 2026 red carpet arrivals

A host of stars were ready to celebrate and stand out on the Grammy Award red carpet on Sunday night. The glitzy music award ceremony was back with a bang for the 2026 season - following a subdued event last year amid the devastating 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. But returning to the red carpet at the Crypto.com Arena in the Californian city on Sunday night, the singing celebs knew how to grab attention. British rock-pop star Yungblud was one of the first to arrive - and turned heads as he showed off plenty of skin as he made his way to the ceremony. The 28-year-old chart-topping star was nominated for the Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song and Best Rock Album categories. Joined by girlfriend Jesse Jo Stark, the American singer and fashion designer, Yungblud wore leather trousers and an open leather shirt - complete with an animal print fur-lined collar. Meanwhile, 25-year-old singer Lola Young - who was nominated for the Best New Artist and Best Pop Solo Performance awards - wore an oversized printed tracksuit, white shirt, and large colourful tie. And 38-year-old FKA Twigs - who won the Best Dance/Electronic Album award in an early segment of the ceremony - wore a striking dress with cascading sections of fabric. Kendrick Lamar was set to be the star to beat during the ceremony, as he led the award nominations with nine. Lady Gaga, Jack Antonoff and Canadian producer/songwriter Cirkut all had seven nominations each. While other nominees include Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny, Leon Thomas and Serban Ghenea, who are all up for six nominations each. While Andrew Watt, Clipse, Doechii, Sounwave, SZA, Turnstile and Tyler, the Creator each had five. Major stars were set to take to the stage to present - including Doechii, Harry Styles, and Chappell Roan. While Gaga, Sabrina, Bruno Mars and more were expected to perform. The ceremony was presided over by comedian Trevor Noah. Like this story?
