Seven-member SIT formed to probe assassination attempt on NC chief Farooq Abdullah

Jammu and Kashmir Police have formed a seven-member Special Investigation Team. This team will investigate the recent assassination attempt on former chief minister Farooq Abdullah. The incident occurred during a marriage function in Jammu. A gunman opened fire on Abdullah but he escaped unharmed. The accused was apprehended at the scene.
