Senate confirms ‘Project 2025’ co-writer Russel Vought as Trump’s Budget Director

The US Senate has confirmed the appointment of Russel Vought as Director of the Office of Management and Budget. Vought is known for co-authoring ‘Project 2025,’ the potential threat of which was cited by the Kamala Harris campaign. Vought also served as Trump’s OMB director in 2020 before being appointed in an acting or deputy capacity.
