Sena (UBT) stakes claim to LoP post in Maharashtra assembly, nominates MLA Jadhav

Shiv Sena (UBT) has nominated Bhaskar Jadhav for the Leader of Opposition post in the Maharashtra assembly, urging Speaker Rahul Narwekar to decide before the budget session ends on March 26. With 20 MLAs, Shiv Sena (UBT) has the most legislators among opposition parties. NCP (SP) had earlier demanded a rotational sharing of the post among MVA constituents.
