Second meeting of JPC on simultaneous polls on Jan 31

The joint parliamentary committee on simultaneous elections will hold its second meeting on January 31. The committee, now consisting of 39 members from various political parties, will discuss the procedures for examining the Constitution (129th Amendment) Bill and the Union Territories Laws (Amendment) Bill. The first meeting saw a robust exchange of views between members.
