Second Chelsea star 'confused and frustrated' as Liam Rosenior responds to Enzo Fernandez

Chelsea crashed out of the Champions League spectacularly on Tuesday night after an 8-2 aggregate defeat to the defending champions. Trailing 5-2 from the first leg, the Blues suffered the worst possible start when Khvicha Kvaratskhelia capitalized on an error from Mamadou Sarr to scored inside six minutes. Bradley Barcola doubled PSG’s lead with a fabulous effort shortly after with Senny Mayulu adding a third in the second-half. It was a sobering night for Rosenior, who has seen some of is management methods questioned during his tenure in west London. The former Strasbourg boss was spotted furiously scribbling down notes when Trevoh Chalobah needed treatment late on in the contest, passing the sheet of paper to Ajejandro Garnacho to pass onto Tosin Adarabioyo. With the tie long over and with just seven minutes on the clock, Garnacho looked bemused as he trotted the instructions over to his teammate. The former Benfica star appeared to question his manager’s methods by admitting PSG outclassed them tactically before suggesting he could be open to leaving Chelsea this summer. Rosenior’s methods have been questioned (Picture: Getty) Asked if he will still be a Chelsea player next season, Fernandez said: ‘I don’t know. There are eight games left and then the FA Cup. Then there’s the World Cup, and then we’ll see.’ Rosenior was quizzed on those comments post-match with the dust still settling on a woeful night for all involved at Chelsea. The Blues are back in action against Everton as they attempt to secure qualification for next season’s Champions League. ‘Firstly, I haven’t seen that,# said Rosenior of Fernandez’s comments. ‘It’s hard for me to speak on speculation after a game and I need to focus right now on the most important things, which is making sure we get a result against Everton on Saturday.’
