SC stays Telangana HC order on local quota in MBBS admissions
The Supreme Court has stayed a Telangana High Court order that allowed permanent residents of the state to gain admission in medical colleges despite studying or residing outside Telangana. The state government agreed to a one-time exception for 135 students who had approached the high court.
