SC seeks response of UP govt, businessman on plea of Remo D'Souza in cheating case

The Supreme Court issued notices to the Uttar Pradesh government and businessman Satyendra Tyagi. The case involves a cheating allegation against Bollywood director Remo D'Souza. D'Souza allegedly persuaded Tyagi to invest in his film with a promise of doubling the amount. Tyagi claimed D'Souza did not honor the promise. The High Court dismissed D'Souza's plea.
