SC defers to Nov 27 hearing on pleas seeking reconsideration of 2022 PMLA verdict

The Supreme Court has postponed the hearing to November 27 on reconsidering its 2022 verdict that upheld the Enforcement Directorate's powers under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. The delay was due to the unavailability of a senior advocate representing the petitioners. The 2022 verdict had affirmed the ED's powers of arrest and attachment of property.
