SC asks Delhi LG for personal affidavit on tree felling in Delhi Ridge area

The Supreme Court has directed Delhi LG V K Saxena to file an affidavit by October 22 concerning alleged tree felling in the Delhi Ridge area. The court seeks clarity on whether the DDA chairperson was aware of the court's permission for felling trees. Disciplinary actions against officials and restoration measures for ecological damage are also to be reported.
